1. To Transform student/ teacher into competent and committed professionals with the basic competencies and skills needed for functioning as an effective teacher for a defined educational level.
2. To promote the capabilities for inculcating national values goals (As enshrined in the constitution of India) among school children.
3. To enable teacher’s to act as agents of modernization and social change and sensitize them towards curcial issue like the promotion of social cohesion, International understanding and protection of human nights and rights of the children.
4. To sensitize teachers about the emerging issue such as environment ecology, population genddr equality, legal literacy etc. and to develop proper professional approaches for dealing with such issues.
5. To create a new generation of Teachers enabling them to inculcate national thinking and scientific temper among students.
6. To develop managerial and organizational skills, needed for running a modern system of education.
7. To regularly upgrade the infrastructural-instructional facilities to cater to the needs of higher education like B.Ed, & D. Ed. To regularly update the laboratory and library facilities.
